Statement of Faith
HIGH BRAES REFUGE, INC.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments were fully inspired of God and are the inerrant word of God. Therefore it is the supreme and final authority in faith and life.
GOD
We believe that there is only one living and true God; that He is perfect in every way; that He is eternal and exists in three divine persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
JESUS CHRIST
We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His future personal return in power and glory.
HOLY SPIRIT
We believe that the Holy Spirit was sent to lead believers into all truth and to convict the world in respect of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. We believe that He also imparts to the believer gifts for the edifying of the Body of Christ.
MAN
We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby became totally lost to all spiritual life and was separated from God. Therefore, he is unable to enter the Kingdom of God unless he is genuinely born again.
SALVATION
We believe that the only way of salvation is through the righteousness and atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ. Whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life by God’s sovereign grace and not by human works.
